Monthly Favourites | April

Sunday, May 04, 2014

I apologise for the delay in posting this months favourites, I have been a little busy but I hope to have a lot more spare time again now. I am gob smacked that it is May already, this year is definitely whizzing on by and before we know it I will be writing December's post's.

Clinique Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser | £17.00* Link
I have been loving this product ever since I received it, my skin feels amazing and possibly the cleanest its felt in ages. I use this along side my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish to give my skin an extra cleanse, this particular product helps sooth my skin as it gets irritated very easy and can often be red so this works wonders on me. This also has helped massively against reducing any blemishes - this is my new Holy Grail product!

Liz Earle Superskin Hand Serum | £17.50* Link
I don't know if it's the change of weather but my hands have been so sore recently, in between my knuckles and on my fingers mainly my skin has been so chapped and sore (a little similar to eczema) and this seems to be the ONLY hand cream that actually works well for me. I use a pea sized amount in the morning and night and my skin doesn't look or feel chapped any more and is starting to feel normal again. I love this and Liz Earle (as per).

VO5 'Refresh Me Quick' Dry Shampoo | £3.49 Link
This product has been my saviour this month, I have been so busy that I have neglected my hair. On those 'off'' days when my hair is looking a bit dull and is getting a little bit dirty this product is great to quickly freshen up my hair, as a brunette (a very dark brunette) I am impressed that this product doesn't turn my hair white like others too.

Radox Muscle Soak Herbal Bath | £2.00 Link
I have used so much of this bubble bath this month - I have been so exhausted, tired and achy this month and this product has really helped me unwind in a super hot bath. I love Radox bubble baths as I find them super relaxing and they all smell amazing, I think I actually have four others in my bathroom as we speak.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion | £16* Link
I have been wearing eye shadow more often than usual, for anyone who works in an office you will understand that air conditioning and make-up does not mix and I end coming home from work looking like I have been on a heavy night out as my eye shadow has half rubbed off or is everywhere (I don't actually look like this on a night out, or at least I hope not) this product is Primer of all Primers as this keeps my eye shadow in place all day.

Clinique Lash Power 'Feathering Mascara' | £18.00* Link
I LOVE this product, like actually love this. I have finally found a mascara that I can wear during the day that isn't clumpy and doesn't smudge and even better it doesn't irritate my eyes. Occasionally I end up picking my mascara off at work (bad habit I know) however I can wear this little beauty all day, and even pop out after work for a drink and my lashes still look lovely and my eyes are not irritated at all.
