Product of the Week #04

So two weeks running a Clinique product has been my Product of the Week, and this week its the Clinique Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser (£17.00)*.

I have really sensitive skin, like super sensitive and even when I use some of the most gentlest of products my skin can sometimes be left red and irritated. I had never used Clinique skincare before so I was really looking forward to trying this.

The product is a creamy-gel fluid of a milky green colour and has a natural scent. You apply about small amount between the palms of your hands and gentle massage this into your skin, you don't even need to remove your make-up as this does it all for you but I would recommend removing make-up first as it enhances the cleanse meaning it works better.

Clinique say that this cleanser is extra-gentle, non-drying and melts away make-up and impurities. Helps calm the appearance of visible redness, irritation whilst preserving the skin's moisture balance and leaves the skin clean and comforted - and I couldn't have put it better myself!

After using the product my skin feels super soft and I can honestly say my skin has never felt so clean, I use this as a second cleanse with the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish to give my skin the boost cleanse it needs and to prevent my skin appearing red after cleansing/exfoliating. I have been using this product daily for the past two weeks and there's still a lot of product left and my skin is appearing cleaner by the day, I have noticed that I am getting less blemishes and my skin looks fresh daily.

I would definitely recommend trying Clinique's range of cleansers, if you pop in the specialist will definitely be able to recommend a product to suit your skin. The value of the product is a little more than I would normally pay but if you consider how long this product would last and also the results after I would say this is definitely worth it's money and this product has now won a permanent place in my daily skincare regime.

Is Clinique Skincare part of your daily routine? Are there any product's you would recommend me trying?

  1. Hiya great post, just wondering if you wash this cleanser off using a flannel or is it the type you use with a cotton wool pad? x
