My Top Summer Beauty Essentials

Summer is only around the corner (hopefully) and we all know that when the British weather is good, it really is good. Speaking as a girl there is nothing better I love about summer that glowing skin, gorgeous wavy hair and brightly painted nails but there are some products that I will definitely be using this summer to make sure my skin looks and feels it's best.

La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water £8.00 Link
This product is definitely going to be in my handbag throughout the summer, the mist works best by popping in the fridge for a few hours before use and when you are feeling a little hot and flustered or you just need to cool down a little you just spritz it over your face and body if needed. This mist instantly cools and refreshes your skin, even when it hasn't been in the fridge. It is also great to help soothe irritated skin after being in the sun and like other La Roche-Posay products, this is also gentle on the skin.

Clinique Superbalm Lip Treatment £13.00 Link
I find that the Summer is just as bad for drying my lips out as the Winter, ever since using the Clinique Superbalm Lip Treatment my lips are in much better condition. I don't find my lips split as much and they are more nourished than before, throughout the year this is one of my beauty essentials to keep your lips moisturised and fresh as well as giving your lips a natural glossy look.

MAC Prep & Prime Finishing Powder £20.00 Link
We all know that skin gets super hot in the warmer months and I often find this is when my skin is the oiliest (I usually have combination skin) I tend to reduce the amount of make-up I wear in Summer however one product I will not be cutting out is this. The powder is translucent and is perfect to set your make-up or on its own whilst reducing any appearance of shine.

Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream £2.99 Link
Despite sun being amazing for helping to clear up blemishes, humidity and working in a stuffy office with air-con is the worst and tends to make me break out more. As my skin gets hotter and sweatier (eww) I notice that my skin feels and appears more oily which means my pores get clogged and causes my skin to break out. I use Sudocrem before bed after cleansing and apply a small layer across the blemish and in the morning this is reduced - just be careful not to use it when you don't need to as the product is quite rich for your skin.

MAC Matchmaster SPF15 Foundation £27.00 Link
It is very important to us skincare products that contain SPF (sun protection factors) especially in the Summer - after all once your skin is damaged it's very hard to repair it. I love the Matchmaster foundation as not only does it contain SPF15 but it is also a very light matte-ish foundation and is perfect for the Summer. I do find it is a little pricey compared to other foundations but as it protects my skin also I think it is worth it.

Are any of these products in your top Summer essentials? Are there any other products you would recommend me trying this summer?
