What Have I Been Up To...

Sunday, June 22, 2014

Firstly I want to say a big sorry for being a bad blogger, I know I haven't posted or even thought about posting for a few days as I have been mega busy so I thought I would write a quick post to share what I have been up to.

So I have some very exciting news that I have finally been able to get time off work to book a holiday - albeit being in September but it means I can finally go to Spain to start wedding planning. YAY! Once I have started planning I will be starting a Wedding Series on my blog on lots of little DIY bit's that I will be making and also other bits and bobs so I hope you will all enjoy that.

I even have some more exciting news (no I am not having a baby as that seem's to follow wedding news) but I have finally plucked up the courage to enrol with the Open University to start studying again. I really wanted to do this last year but as we had so much happening (you will understand if you had read my previous posts) that I kept putting it off, however it is all officially now and I start studying in October for a BA Honours in Humanities. I have been lucky to tailor my degree to suit me as I am very interested in Business Studies and learning how a business works and how to run a business as well as having a huge passion for writing and creative writing so that is exactly what I have chose, I also get to study a new language within the degree which is exciting as I have always wanted to learn Spanish as I have family abroad so this degree is perfect for me and I am really looking forward to starting. I will still be blogging as much as possible as well as working full time so I imagine it will be quite a busy few years however fingers crossed it all goes to planned!

Finally myself and my fiancé went to the first of this years many weddings on Friday, the wedding was in Mold near North Wales/Chester and the venue and the surroundings was just absolutely gorgeous. Sadly I forgot to take my camera as I had left this at the hotel but it really was stunning. The wedding was perfect as it was beautiful sunshine all day and it certainly complimented the newly wed couple. We had a fantastic time with lots of dancing, lots of drinks and I met a lot of lovely new people. I just thought I would end this post by sharing what me and Maz wore - I apologise in advance for the awful photo's of myself, Maz is not very good with a camera as the only photos he took were with me mid-laughter so I look a little bit of a plonker.
