Benefit Cheekathon Blush Kit Review

Wednesday, August 31, 2016

When I saw this blush palette swam every beauty lover and beauty bloggers Instagram, I just knew I needed to have it. Benefit Cheekathon is the palette of all palettes. It contains 5 full size bronzer and blushers to flatter all skintones, and a soft, natural-bristle brush to apply, all in the most beautiful packaging - which even comes with a mirror to apply on the go. And in true Benefit style, they include a little booklet with tips and different ways to use the palette.

So the shades included are:

  • Full size Dandelion - a baby-pink brightening face powder which you can apply all over your complexion to look radiantly pretty.
  • Full size Hoola - the bronzing powder or all bronzing powders, the only bronzer you'll need in your life, just sweep across your cheeks, chin and forehead for a soft-matte bronze.
  • Full size Rockateur - an elegant rose gold flush, perfect when blended across your cheekbones as it has highlighting powers.
  • Full size Dallas - a soft taupe-brown to add a beautiful, soft sunset glow.
  • Full size CORALista - apply this coral-pink blush on the apples off your cheeks to add a warm, tropical flush.

My ultimate favourite shade is the Rockateur, as not only is this a beautiful rose gold shade, but it has a gorgeous subtle shimmer undertone, so this can be used as a highlighter to make your cheekbones glow. But to be perfectly honest, I mix them all up and switch up the shades I use daily as I just love them all.

Now for the bad news, as this is a limited edition blush and bronzer edition, it's only available exclusively on Benefit's Website and House of Fraser. Now for the good news, this whole palette is only £44.50. Yes you heard me right. This is the ultimate bargain as each blusher/bronzer retails at £23.50 each. For anyone who has had a Benefit boxed blusher before, you'll know how long they last. So imagine how long this set of five will last forever. Okay not literally, but it will last a very long time.
